Huai'an Bridge is a third ring road bridge across over the river in Fuzhou. And it is also a landscape bridge in Fuzhou "West Gate".
The main bridge is a cable stayed bridge of steel-concrete combined girder structure with dual-pylon and dual-cable plane.
The main span length is 416m. The side span is made up of concrete beams with span layout of 112 416 112=640m.
The bridge deck is 40m wide, two-way eight-lane, with pavements at two sides.
Superstructure of the main span is a structure of flat steel box girder with total girder length of 396m, and girder height of 3.5m in the center.
Steel box girders with cross section of three cells are connected by fully welding. Steel box girder for the bridge is divided into 35 segments, among which there are two segments of steel-concrete structure, two transit segments, 30-off standard segments with length of 12.3m, and one connection segment in the mid span.
Total work amount of the whole bridge is 8040t.
