The Kuma reservoir (Russian, Кумское водохранилище) is a large artificial reservoir located on the lower reaches of the Kuma (or Kovda) river in the Republic of Karelia. A number of natural lakes, such as Lake Topozero (986 km²), Lake Pyaozero (659 km²), Lake Kundozero and Tsipringa, have flooded in the long repose area of about 1,910 km² and 153 km in length.Website:http://www.tgc1.ru/press-center/stories/2012/50-let-kumskoi-gehs/
