The new Chaoyang Bridge is a key project in Chongqing, spanning the Jialing River from south to north. The main span structure of the bridge is a 274-meter steel box basket arch, in which 58 sections of the arch rib section, 2 sections of the transition pier, and 6 sections of the inter-arch beam, the length of the special section is nearly 14 meters and the height is 8.3 meters. It is 3.2 meters wide and weighs 92 tons.
