The multimodal port of Děčín offers optimal conditions for trimodal transport due to its location with direct connections to the road and rail network.
The port of Děčín has a powerful transhipment facility with a lifting capacity of up to 80 tons for the transhipment of piece and bulk goods, containers and for the transhipment of heavy and oversized items. The modern transhipment facility also allows easy access for mobile crane equipment.
In addition to open and covered storage areas, the port of Děčín also offers office space for companies to set up and free storage areas for rent. The port is equipped with certified road and rail scales.
Since 2007, the port of Děčín has had a direct connection with northern German seaports via the ETS ELBE (Ecological Transport Service) line. This connection can be expanded to include other routes towards Western Europe via the HUB system in Magdeburg.
