The Limonero Reservoir is a Spanish reservoir located in the municipality of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, in the district of Ciudad Jardín.

The dam, owned by the Andalusian Regional Government, is known for its remarkable infrastructure and vital functions for the region. It was designed by L. de Cossío and the company INYPSA. Classified as category A due to its potential risk, construction of the dam began on 21 September 1979 and was completed on 31 December 1983. The main uses of this dam include water supply and flood defence, mainly benefiting users in Málaga.
Located in the Andalusian Mediterranean river basin, the dam is situated on the Guadalmedina River, which it affects over a length of 5 km. The basin has an area of 166 km², with an average annual inflow of 15 cubic hectometres (Hm³) and an average annual rainfall of 542 mm. The design flood flow is 1,238 cubic metres per second (m³/s), demonstrating the infrastructure's capacity to handle large volumes of water during extreme precipitation events.
In terms of the dam's technical details, it is a loose material dam with a clay core, with a crest elevation of 121 metres and a foundation elevation of 26 metres. The height from the foundations is 95 metres, while the riverbed elevation is 53 metres. The dam's normal maximum level (NML) is 104 metres, with a flooded area at NML of 105 hectares and a storage capacity of 25 Hm³.
