The tallest bronze statue of Emperor Zhenwu in the world was completed on the beautiful and mysterious Xuangu Mountain, adding a cultural symbol to Tianhe Tourist Area and a core landscape for the development of cultural tourism in Yunxi County. It is reported that after the inauguration ceremony, Tianhe Scenic Spot will perform precise and meticulous welding, polishing, gilding and polishing of this bronze statue of Zhenwu. It is expected that this year's Double Ninth Festival will hold a grand unveiling ceremony for the world's tallest bronze statue of Zhenwu; On March 3 next year, a grand opening ceremony will be held for it.
This giant bronze sculpture was invested by Hubei Xuangushan Tourism Development Co., Ltd., and was carefully designed by the famous Chinese sculpture artist and chairman of Shandong Huayi Sculpture Art Co., Ltd. Fu Shaoqiang based on the bronze statue of Emperor Zhenwu of Wudang Mountain. Sculpture artists jointly appraised and forged from pure copper, it is 59 meters high and 15 meters in diameter. It is the tallest standing statue of Emperor Zhenwu in the world. This sculpture reproduces the legendary scene of Zhenwu practicing with great concentration in Xuangu Mountain, Yunxi. It towers high in the sky, solemn and lifelike, and has great aesthetic value. It can be called a cultural classic and will shine through the ages.
The core scenic area of Xuangu Mountain in Yunxi Tianhe Tourist Area is located in Tianheping Village, Chengguan Town, Yunxi County, with a planned area of 4.8 square kilometers. With Qixi culture as the theme, it is integrated with Taoist culture, integrating artificial lakes, immortality health preservation, and Qixi love culture. The Qixi Cultural District mainly features "Yunxi Ancient Scenery, Mysterious Tianhe, and Qixi Folk Customs" as its tourist theme; "Tianhe Feique Bridge, Cowherd Meeting Weaver Girl, Xiufeng Watching Shadows, Romantic Qixi Love" as its tourist theme; sightseeing tours, wedding trips Holidays, leisure and recuperation, and ecological protection are the main functions. It mainly presents the legend of youth Zhenwu practicing Taoism in Yunxi Xuangu Mountain through the historic Xuangu Temple, the newly built Zhenwu Square, and the bronze statue of Zhenwu. It is in the same line with the Taoist culture of Wudang Mountain.
Legend has it that when he was young, Emperor Zhenwu once practiced in Xuangu Mountain, Yunxi, and gave a puddle of holy water to benefit the people. From there, he climbed to Wudang Mountain. After 42 years of cultivation, he became a god.
