Port of Dudinka
Dudinka Port is an Arctic seaport of federal significance on the Northern Sea Route, located on the right bank of the Yenisei River at the mouth of a tributary of the Dudinka River.
It is the only seaport in the world whose berths are flooded during spring floods. It is operated simultaneously as a seaport and a river port. In 2012 it received the status of an international port.

The seaport of Dudinka is located on the right shore of the Yenisei River, where the Dudinka tributary flows into it. The port is navigable all year round, excluding the period of spring breaks (end of May – end of June) when the mooring berths of the seaport are submersed. In winter vessels can navigate using ice-breaker support. The seaport owns 9 mooring berths with total length of more than 1.7km. The Dudinka port admits vessels with length of up to 260.3m, width of up to 32.2m and draught of up to 11.8m. 2 stevedoring companies work at the port: Polar Transport Branch of OAO Mining and Metallurgical Company Norilsk Nikel and ZAO Taymyr Fuel Company. The Polar Transport Branch of OAO MMC Norilsk Nikel uses mooring berths to unload final products and nis materials as well as to handle containers and local general cargoes. ZAO Taymyr Fuel Company is involved in handling of oil products.
