The Lac du Sautet is an artificial lake located on the border of the departments of Isère and Hautes-Alpes. It was created by the establishment of a dam on the Drac, downstream from its confluence with the Souloise.
The lake is located on the territory of the communes of Corps, Pellafol, Monestier-d'Ambel, Ambel, Beaufin and Aspres-lès-Corps.

Sautet Bridge
Downstream from the dam, to allow the departmental road 537 to cross the Drac gorges, is the Sautet bridge. It was designed by the engineer Albert Caquot. It is a single-arch bridge made of reinforced concrete with a span of 85 metres. The key to the arch is 150 metres above the Drac.
The arch was built on a hanger in 1927-1928 by Entreprises J. Monod. The arch was also designed by Albert Caquot. For the first time, the arch was designed in two halves, each built vertically along the bank piers and folded down.
