The head and turban of Nasreddin Hodja Statue playing yeast in the lake in Uzundere Recreation Area in Karabağlar District of Izmir, was placed on a pedestal.
The head and turban section of the statue, which is 37.5 meters high from the ground, was placed in its place with the help of a giant crane after 5 hours of work.
While the recreation works carried out by Karabağlar Municipality in Uzundere on an area of 250 hectares, Nasreddin Hodja, whose body and hands were worn before, was also fitted and the assembly was completed. A team of 25 people took part in the construction of the statue of Hodja, who plays yeast in the lake, which is established on an area of 3 thousand square meters. The head and hatch section assembled as a special construction was made in Antalya and brought to the assembly area with 4 trucks. Acrylic paint was used to color the Nasreddin Hodja statue, in which concrete and polyester material was used in its mold. In addition to the construction of the statue of Nasreddin Hodja in Uzundere, landscaping continues.
