Vahelna Jain Temple
History
The land of Vahelna is considered as a place of miracles. As per the Jain beliefs there is an interesting story related to this temple. Long back, there were few thieves who used to steal statues from temples for their living. One day, they planned to steal the statues from Vahelna Jain temple and just when they were leaving the premises they fell down over the floor and lost their eyesight. The next morning people understood the whole story seeing the statues lying before them in an intact condition. They, therefore, put these men behind the bars for crime of stealing the idols.
