The Nelson Mandela Bridge is located in the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat and is the last bridge over the Llobregat River before reaching the mouth. It was inaugurated in April 20151 and was named after the South African politician, Nelson Mandela on February 11, 2016.2 Until then it was known as the Pratenc Polygon Bridge, Vial Port - Airport Bridge, Gola del Llobregat Bridge3 or simply as the new El Prat Bridge.
