The Bisantis bridge (official name: Bisantis viaduct, also called Morandi bridge, viaduct over the Fiumarella, or U Ponta 'e Catanzaru and U Ponta subb'a Hjumareddha in Catanzarense dialect) is an arch bridge for road and pedestrians, composed of a single carriageway and three lanes, two in the southwest direction and one in the northeast direction. Built on a single reinforced concrete arch, it connects the center of Catanzaro with State Highway 280 of the Two Seas (Vial de Filippis, Sansinato tunnel) and to the northwest with the periphery of the city (districts of Mater Domini and Gagliano), located on the opposite side of the Fiumarella river valley.
