Chaulière Bridge
The Artuby bridge or Chaulière bridge is an arch bridge over the Artuby river, located on the departmental road RD 71 between the territories of the communes of Aiguines and Trigance, in the French department of Var.
Description
The bridge over the Artuby was built in reinforced concrete between 1938 and 1940 by the company Thorrand et Cie of Nice. The bridge was designed by the Pelnard-Considère and Caquot design office.
It is composed of a single arch of 107 metres and overhangs the river with an actual height of 138 metres and not 182, the gorges of the Artuby river, which flows into the Verdon at a place called La Mescla.
