Listed as a historical monument, the Château d'Époisses is located in the center of Burgundy, in a beautiful and rich valley that bears the name, between the city of Semur and Avallon in the heart of the Auxois and two hours from the capital city. Its history goes back to the 6th century, where it was the fief of Queen Brunehaut and King of Burgundy Theodoric I (Thierry), his grandson.
