The Ponte Infante Dom Henrique, also known as Ponte do Infante, is a road bridge connecting Vila Nova de Gaia to Porto, on the Douro River, in Portugal.
Baptized in honor of the Infante D. Henrique, born in Porto, is the most recent and, according to many, the slimest bridge that connects Porto and Gaia. It was built to replace the upper board of the Luis I Bridge, meanwhile converted to use the "Linha Amarela" (Hospital de São João / Santo Ovídio) of the Porto Metro.
It was built a little upstream of the Luis I Bridge, in the middle of the historical zone, connecting the Fontainhas (Porto) and the Serra do Pilar (Vila Nova de Gaia).
