32 marble monuments all Marquises, kings and princes of Brandenburg and Prussia 1157-1888 were previously on a 750 meter long avenue that the former Königsplatz (now Republic Square) proceeded, the former site of the Victory Column to Kemper square with the Roland fountain. The Siegesallee had been completed as a boulevard in 1895 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. 1895 given and finances in order in 1901. During World War II some of the figures have been damaged, some have been missing ever since. The Allied Command ordered 1947 the leveling of the avenue.
