Descripción:Pohang Port Overview

Pohang Port is located in the southeast part of the Korean Peninsula where the natural conditions and geographical location are excellent. Its details are as follows:

a) gate for Daegu and Gyeongbuk area;

b) Sinhang to support the Steal Industrial Complex including POSCO;

c) Guhang(Songdo pier, Ferry pier, and Dongbin pier) to transport sand and oil;

d) Yeongilmanhang planned to open by year 2009.

Pohang (en coreano: 포항시, Romanización revisada: pohangsi, léase:Pójan) es una ciudad del norte de Gyeongsang del Norte, Corea del Sur. Tiene el puerto marítimo principal en la región de Daegu Gyeongbuk. La zona edificada de Pohang está situado en el aluvión de la desembocadura del río Hyeongsan. La ciudad está dividida en dos salas ("Gu"), Buk-gu (Distrito Norte) y Nam-gu (sur de Ward).
